At Mid Downs Farm Vets, we specialise exclusively in production animals, with comprehensive services for dairy, beef, and sheep enterprises. We do not offer a smallholder service, allowing us to remain fully focused on the specific needs and challenges of commercial farming operations. Our services include:

  • Herd and flock production analysis
  • Nutritional consultancy
  • Calf consultancy
  • Bull and ram fertility testing
  • Semen straw testing for AI
  • TB testing and TBAS visits


Other Services

We provide 24-hour care, 365 days per year, and have an excellent and experienced out-of-hours team, responding quickly for calvings and other emergencies.

Medicines can be ordered and picked up from the practice during opening hours. We will also deliver medicines, for a small charge. Please speak to the office to arrange this.
